Dosyalar

Kütüphaneye dosya eklediğinde uygulama yalnızca senin seçtiğin dosyayı okur ve metnini cihazında saklar. Dosyalarına başka hiçbir şekilde erişilmez; dosya ya da içeriği hiçbir yere yüklenmez.

Bildirim gösterme`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Günlük okuma hatırlatıcısını açarsan istenir. Hatırlatıcı telefonunda planlanır, sunucu kullanılmaz. Ayarlardan istediğin zaman kapatabilirsin.
Açılışta çalışma`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`	Telefon yeniden başladığında hatırlatıcıyı yeniden planlamak için.
Titreşim`VIBRATE`	İsteğe bağlı dokunsal geri bildirim için.
Arka plan görevleri`WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Android'in hatırlatıcı ve widget için kullandığı sistem kütüphaneleri bu teknik izinleri ekler. Uygulamanın internet izni olmadığından bu izinler hiçbir veri göndermek için kullanılamaz.

Yedekleme

Telefonunda Android'in otomatik yedekleme özelliği açıksa, uygulama verileri Android tarafından kendi Google hesabına yedeklenebilir. Bu yedeklemeyi senin ayarlarına göre Google yapar; bize iletilmez ve bizim erişimimizde değildir.

Verilerini silmek

Tüm bilgiler yalnızca cihazında olduğundan silme kontrolü sende. Android ayarlarında ReadDash için “Depolama alanını temizle” dediğinde ya da uygulamayı kaldırdığında bu bilgilerin tamamı silinir. Kütüphaneye eklediğin dosyaların asılları telefonundaki yerlerinde kalır.

Google Play

Uygulamayı Google Play üzerinden indirdiğinde Google, kendi gizlilik politikasına göre bazı verileri (örneğin indirme bilgisi ya da izin verdiysen çökme raporları) işleyebilir. Ayrıntılar için Google Gizlilik Politikası'na bakabilirsin.

Çocukların gizliliği

Uygulama, çocuklar dahil hiçbir kullanıcıdan kişisel veri toplamaz.

ReadDash never connects to the internet. The texts you read and your progress stay on your phone.

This page explains what the ReadDash speed reading app, developed by BasTech, stores, where it stores it, and why it asks for each permission.

Personal data collected: None
Internet connection: Not used, the app has no internet permission
Account or sign-in: Not required
Ads, analytics, tracking: None
Selling or sharing with third parties: None

Information stored on your phone

To work, the app keeps the following only on your device, in its private storage. None of it is sent anywhere, and no one, including BasTech, can see it.

Your name, if you choose to enter it
Your settings, such as reading speed, daily goal and reading appearance
Your reading statistics, exercise history, streak and badges
Your reading position in texts
Texts you add yourself: typed, pasted or imported from a file you select

Files

When you add a file to the library, the app reads only the file you select and stores its text on your device. Your files are not accessed in any other way, and neither the file nor its contents are uploaded anywhere.

Home screen widget

The widget shows your streak and reading time from the data on your phone.

Permissions

Permission	Why it is needed
File access`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	Only on Android 12 and earlier, to open the file you choose to add to the library. Not requested on Android 13 and later.
Notifications`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Requested if you turn on the daily reading reminder. The reminder is scheduled on your phone; no server is involved. You can turn it off in settings at any time.
Run at startup`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`	To reschedule the reminder after your phone restarts.
Vibration`VIBRATE`	For optional haptic feedback.
Background work`WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Added by the Android system libraries used for the reminder and the widget. Because the app has no internet permission, these cannot be used to send any data.

Backup

If Android's automatic backup is turned on, Android may back up the app's data to your own Google account. Google performs this backup according to your settings; it is not sent to us and we have no access to it.

Deleting your data

Because everything stays on your device, you are in control. Clearing ReadDash's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app deletes all of this information. The original files you added to the library stay where they are on your phone.

Google Play

When you download the app from Google Play, Google may process some data (such as download information or, if you allowed it, crash reports) under its own privacy policy. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal data from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's use of data changes, for example if a feature that needs an internet connection is added, this page will be updated along with its effective date.
